Job Summary:

Elite Tournaments is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to provide support for the Marketing and Business Development Departments of the company. The primary function of this position will be assisting the Director of Marketing in implementing all marketing plans for soccer and lacrosse events. This position will also assist the Director of Business Development with soliciting, contracting, and coordinating vendors for events.


 Administrative & Analytical

  • Assist Tournament Directors with keeping an updated email database
  • Continually update and manage contact database
  • Report on marketing emails / campaign analytics to necessary departments as needed
  • Report on historical event data for events and clients

 Business Development

  • Secure, coordinate, and manage onsite vendors for events
  • Create marketing materials and graphics in order to solicit business from local vendors including flyers, online graphics, etc.
  • Keep accurate and up to date records of vendor negotiations, contracts, and database
  • In conjunction with Finance Department, ensure accurate invoicing of vendors, timely payments, etc.
  • Communicate and distribute deliverables of vendor agreement(s) to relevant staff to ensure that responsibilities are delegated and delivered


  • Responsible for content creation, updating, and formatting of marketing emails / campaigns
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for events
  • Design and correspond with relevant parties in creation of tournament logos.
  • Assist in updating and formatting proposals, company documents, document templates, etc.
  • Assist with social media campaigns for events and clients as needed
  • Oversee the procurement of any necessary print materials for events
  • Assist with writing company press releases for new clients, events, and partnerships
  • Assist with website updates as needed

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the youth sports landscape and particularly the youth lacrosse and youth soccer tournament, club, sector, and demographic in the United States
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Effective organizational skills for management of multiple tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in operation of sporting events, leagues, facilities, and/or professional teams

 Preferred Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of products in Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Excel
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Preferred knowledge of graphic design and video editing
  • Knowledge of GotSport software application, or other applicable registration software

 Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work weekends, irregular hours, and travel as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Reliable transportation
